M&E projects for Ford Motor Company

We have been working with Ford Motor Company in Taiwan for 40+ years.  We have built a number of power systems within the Ford manufacturing facility and our ongoing responsibility is to ensure the reliable operation of the power systems and to upgrade to the latest technologies at appropriate times.  

Specific tasks within a given period include:

  1. 69KV Main Power Station Equipment Update: This task focuses on updating the equipment within the 69KV Main Power Station. It involves the replacement or upgrade of components to ensure the station’s efficient operation and compliance with industry standards.

  2. ABS (761) Update, VCB (Vacuum Circuit Breaker) x2 Update, Low Voltage Panel x2 Update: This task involves updating the ABS (761) system, which may include replacing or upgrading components for improved functionality. It also includes updating two VCBs and two low voltage panels to enhance the performance and reliability of the power system.

  3. P/S 3.3KV #4 Substation New Construction: This task involves the construction of a new P/S (Primary Substation) with a voltage rating of 3.3KV. The substation is designed to provide a reliable power supply to specific areas within the facility, supporting the manufacturing processes and equipment.

  4. 2P/S TR#3 2000KVA & Pump Room Transformer 600KVA Update: This task focuses on updating the 2P/S TR#3 transformer with a capacity of 2000KVA. Additionally, the transformer in the pump room, with a capacity of 600KVA, will be updated to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

  5. P/S & B/S Substation Independent Removal of Power Supply Interlock Circuit Lines: This task involves the independent removal of power supply interlock circuit lines in the P/S and B/S substations. This process aims to enhance the safety and efficiency of the power supply system by improving the control and monitoring of the power distribution.

  6. Fire Pump #2 Update: This task involves updating the fire pump system, specifically focusing on the replacement or upgrade of components to ensure the proper functioning of the fire protection system within the facility.

  7. P/S Air Conditioning Unit LNG System New Construction: This task involves the installation of a new LNG (liquefied natural gas) system for the P/S air conditioning unit. The LNG system is designed to provide efficient cooling capabilities for the power substation, enhancing its performance and reliability.

Throughout the projects, adherence to safety protocols, rigorous testing, and comprehensive inspections are essential to identify any potential issues and ensure the overall reliability and safety of the HV/LV power systems within the Ford Lio Ho Motor Co. facility.
